KGF: Chapter 2 is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language period action film [19] written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under his Hombale Films banner. It serves as the direct sequel to KGF: Chapter 1 (2018), as well as the second installment in the KGF franchise .
This film was released in five languages across India: Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. K.G.F: Chapter 1 was very successful at the box office, becoming the first Kannada film to enter the ₹ 200 crore club worldwide and collected more than ₹ 250 crores. Prashanth Neelakantapuram(yadav) (born 4 June 1980), popularly known as Prashanth Neel, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu and Kannada cinema. He debuted with the Kannada action-thriller Ugramm (2014) and later directed the KGF trilogy (2018–present), whose second part became the highest-grossing Kannada film of all-time.
