Big Kids is a 13-episode children's comedy television series created by Lucy Daniel-Raby. The series is a British-American [1] co-production [2] of the BBC and the American network Noggin. [3] It premiered on CBBC on BBC One on 27 September 2000 [4] and on the Noggin channel on 29 January 2001. [3]
The series [5] first premiered on the Noggin app and on the Nick Jr. Youtube channel. [6] Music from the series was released as an album across music streaming platforms. The series debuted on February 15, 2021, and is currently in its first season with 7 episodes already released.

The show aired on the Noggin channel, which was co-founded by MTV Networks and Sesame Workshop. Oobi has three seasons: one season of shorts and two seasons of long-form episodes. The shorts are 1–2 minutes each and were aired during commercial breaks. The long-form episodes are 10–13 minutes each.
The show was first released to VHS in 2000, when Noggin released several episodes onto a video called A Walk in Your Shoes: Disabilities Teaching Awareness Kit. Two more episodes, "Living with HIV/AIDS" and "Teen Parent", [32] were released as separate VHS tapes in 2003. The episode "Muslim" was released to DVD in 2005.
The last new episode premiered on Nickelodeon on June 1, 2001, and the last rerun aired on December 25, 2002.
