Kyle Richard Gass (born July 14, 1960) [1] is an American musician, singer, actor, and comedian, best known for being a founding member of Tenacious D, a Grammy-winning comedy band. [2] He is also a member of Trainwreck and the Kyle Gass Band .
Gass was also dropped by his talent agency Greene Talent. During the band’s July 14 show in Australia, Black surprised Gass by bringing out a cake on stage to celebrate the latter’s 64th birthday.

In 2005, Konesky and Spiker performed on the second Tenacious D album The Pick of Destiny and would then perform live on The Pick of Destiny Tour, making them (alongside drummer Brooks Wackerman) additional live members of Tenacious D.
