Retirement of class 624/634 trainsets started in 2003, when DB lost a couple of tender procedures to private companies and modern light-weight DMUs came into service in large numbers. The last class 624/634 units were retired in 2005. Fourteen trainsets were sold to Poland's PKP as Class SA110 and had been in use in regional and local service. [2]
T44 is a Swedish diesel-electric locomotive built by Nydqvist & Holm (NOHAB) and Kalmar Verkstad (KVAB) in 123 units between 1968 and 1987. It was the successor of T43, and used both for hauling and shunting.
One unique feature is the folding table at every seat, some of which are now missing as a result of vandalism. As on the 624/634 the luggage compartment behind the cab, together with its loading doors, was omitted. The 1st class compartments were given pink wall coverings, blue tables and blue, adjustable individual seats with red head cushions.
The 634N was initially launched with the Fiat 355 engine, a 6-cylinder 8.3-litre (8312 cc) diesel engine producing 75 hp (56 kW). In 1933, the engine was upgraded to the Fiat 355C unit, a slightly larger 8.4-litre (8355 cc) engine producing 80 hp (60 kW).

The two 2-car sets were rebuilt from former 6050 series sets 6177 and 6178 [2] with completely new interiors and large windows extending into the roof line. [1] The 634 series designation was chosen as it can be read as "Musashi" in Japanese, and coincides with the height in metres of the Tokyo Skytree.
The CG634 is made of aramid and has a minimum v 50 of 634 m/s (compared to the PASGT's 610 m/s). It mates a modified French design, based on the PASGT, but adapted for compatibility with Canadian equipment (head-set, respirator, vision devices, and armoured vest).
