The Hotel Constance was founded by Pasadena businesswoman Constance V. L. Perry. [2] It was constructed on property leased for 20 years by the Orndorff Hotel Company [3] and opened on December 3, 1926. It was one of 18 major hotels in Pasadena at the time.
