Crazy Like a Fox: The Definitive Chronicle of Brian Pillman 20 Years Later is a 2017 biography about American football player and professional wrestler Brian Pillman written by Liam O'Rourke and published by CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform. It won the Wrestling Observer Newsletter award for Best Pro Wrestling Book.
Patrick Hickey Jr. of Reviewfix felt that the book was a satisfying read by featuring "a near perfect blend of commentary, journalism and nostalgia" and that it is a quick read that any serious wrestling fan should take a look at. WWE Books is a subsidiary of World Wrestling Entertainment, a division of TKO Group Holdings, a majority-owned subsidiary of Endeavor Group Holdings, created in 2002 to publish autobiographies of and fiction based on WWE personalities, behind-the-scenes guides to WWE, illustrated books, calendars, young adult books, and other general nonfiction books.
The book was met with mostly positive reviews, with Wrestling Observer Newsletter giving it their award for Best Pro Wrestling Book of 2020. The book was first announced in May 2010. [5] [6]In March Hart was interviewed about the book on WDFN Wrestling Elite [7] and Monday Night Mayhem. [8] On Monday Night Mayhem Hart explained that the motivation for him writing the book partly came from the fact that he believed that despite all of the many books about his family none of them did it justice.
