Camp 4 is a tent-only campground in Yosemite National Park in the United States. [2] It became notable after World War II as "a birthplace of rock climbing’s modern age." [3] It is located at an elevation of 4000 ft (1200 m) on the north side of the Yosemite Valley, close to base of granite cliffs near Yosemite Falls.
The estimated cost of rebuilding the Upper Pines, Lower Pines, and North Pines and removing the damaged Upper and Lower River campgrounds was over $8 million. Total park damages were estimated at $178 million. Highway 120 west out of the park was inundated in many areas and closed for nearly half a year for repairs. [1]

Lake Eleanor is a reservoir located in the northwestern backcountry of Yosemite National Park at an altitude of 4,657 feet (1,419 m). The reservoir has a capacity of 26,100 acre-feet (32,200,000 m 3 ) and a surface area of 953 acres (3.9 km 2 ).
