Padjadjaran University (Indonesian: Universitas Padjadjaran; (Sundanese: ᮅᮔᮤᮗᮨᮁᮞᮤᮒᮞ᮪ ᮕᮏᮏᮛᮔ᮪), abbreviated as UNPAD) is a public university located in Sumedang Regency and Bandung, which is the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It was established on September 11, 1957.

On 8 October 1967, Rantja Badak Hospital changed its name again into Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital as a homage to Hasan Sadikin, a former director and dean of Faculty of Medicine of Padjadjaran University who died in office on 16 July 1967.

[citation needed] Its operations were handed to the Jesuits in 1937 and the Department of Commerce created in 1949. In 1972 St. Joseph's College was divided, with its College of Arts and Sciences and its College of Commerce becoming independent, although both remain under the administration of the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society.
Government Museum, Bengaluru, established in 1865 by the Mysore State with the guidance of Surgeon Edward Balfour who founded the museum in Madras and supported by the Chief Commissioner of Mysore, L.B.
