In the general election, Incumbent United States President Donald Trump won Tennessee with 60.66% of the vote. The presidential primaries were held on March 3, 2020.
Middle and East Tennessee are solidly Republican, while West Tennessee, owing to its high Black population, was formerly loyal to the Democrats.
