It is unclear how many woredas actually exist in the Somali Region, since the names and number of woredas given in the CSA's documents differ between 2005 and 2007, [1] and different maps [2] [3] show a variety of names and boundaries.

Boh (Somali: Bookh), popularly known as 'Iid, is one of the woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia.Part of the Werder Zone, Boh is located in the easternmost part of the country, at the point of the angle jutting into Somalia; on its other sides, this woreda is bordered on the southwest by Geladin, and on the northwest by Danot.

Fafan (Somali: Faafan) is a zone in Somali Region of Ethiopia.It was previously known as the Jijiga zone, so named after its largest city, Jijiga. [2] Other towns and cities in this zone include Awbare, Derwernache, Lefe Isa, Babile, Kebri Beyah, Harshin, Goljano, Tuli Gulled and Hart Sheik.
Gode (Godey) is a woreda in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, named after its major town, Gode. Part of the Gode Zone, Gode is bordered on the south by the Shebelle River which separates it from Adadle, on the northwest by Imiberi, on the north by Danan, on the northeast by the Korahe Zone, and on the southeast by Kelafo.
