Om Shanti Om (transl. literally to Peace Be With You [a]) is a 2007 Hindi-language romantic fantasy film written and directed by Farah Khan, co-written by Mayur Puri and Mushtaq Shiekh, and produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment.
The first official teaser of the film was accessed by New York Times on 25 August 2007. [8] The first screening was held on 28 October 2007, though only for those associated with the film. [9] This film was released on 9 November 2007, clashing with another Bollywood film Om Shanti Om, starring Shahrukh Khan, and Deepika Padukone.
The film was planned in 2005 but it was shelved for some reason and Farah Khan went on to make Om Shanti Om (2007), and Tees Maar Khan (2010). The film was distributed worldwide by Yash Raj Films. In the film, Charlie assembles a team of non-dancers to take part in a dance competition at a hotel in Dubai in a quest to pull off a diamond heist.
