Clairemont (or Clairemont Mesa) is a community in San Diego, California, United States. It has a population of about 81,600 residents and an area of roughly 13.3 square miles (34 km 2 ). Clairemont is bordered by Interstate 805 on the east, Interstate 5 to the west, State Route 52 to the north, and the community of Linda Vista to the south.
Clairemont Drive station is an at-grade San Diego Trolley station in San Diego, California. The station platform is located on the westside of Morena Boulevard where the tracks are, while the parking structure will be built across the street on the eastside of Morena between Ingulf Street and Clairemont Drive. In 2002, the store moved to Mercury Street and then Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in 2013. [4] It moved again to a different building on the same street in 2024. This store has 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m 2 ) of retail space, a 25,000 sq ft (2,300 m 2 ) rooftop food hall containing about ten restaurants, and a cocktail bar.
Kearny Mesa is located between the communities of Clairemont to the west, Tierrasanta to the east, Miramar/Mira Mesa to the north, and Linda Vista/Serra Mesa to the south. The neighborhood is defined by the City of San Diego as the area bounded by State Route 52 (SR 52) , Interstate 15 (I-15) , Aero Drive, and I-805 . [ 6 ]
