The Dodge Neon SRT-4 (also known and later labeled as Dodge SRT-4) is a sport compact car manufactured by Dodge from 2003 to 2005. A turbocharged variant of the Neon , [ 1 ] the car was developed by DaimlerChrysler 's in house PVO (Performance Vehicle Operations) tuner group.
Dodge pioneered the extended-cab pickup with the introduction of the Club Cab for 1973. Available with either a 6.5 ft (2.0 m) or 8 ft (2.4 m) Sweptline bed, the Club Cab was a two-door cab with small rear windows which had more space behind the seats than the standard cab, but was not as long as the four-door crew cab.
R/T is the performance marker used on Dodge/Chrysler automobiles since the 1960s (similar to Chevrolet's Super Sport; or SS). R/T stands for Road/Track. [1] R/T models usually come with R/T badging and a combination of upgraded suspension, tires, brakes, and often more powerful engines.
A special addition was a decal kit with large door mountable "43" decals and "360" decals for the hood. These decals were shipped in the trunk either to be installed by the dealer or by the owner. The first Chrysler cars were introduced on January 5, 1924, at the New York Automobile Show – one year before Chrysler Corporation itself was created. These cars, launched by Maxwell Motors, had a new high-compression six-cylinder, a seven-bearing crankshaft, carburetor air cleaner, replaceable oil filter, and four-wheel hydraulic brakes.
