Disney XD logo. Disney XD is a brand of children's TV channels owned by The Walt Disney Company. Since its American debut on February 13, 2009, [1] [2] the brand was launched in other markets. The channel was formerly known as Toon Disney or Jetix in most areas.
Many of the channel's programs – particularly animated series – previously aired on Toon Disney, mainly as part of the Jetix programming block, which ran on Toon Disney until that channel's shutdown. Disney XD carries the same name as an unrelated mini-site and media player on Disney.com, which stood for Disney Xtreme Digital. [7]

In May 2009, after Toon Disney was rebranded to Disney XD in the United States, the Latin American-Disney branch confirmed Disney XD would replace Jetix in Latin America on July 3, 2009. Disney XD (formerly Fox Kids Network, Fox Kids and Jetix) was a British and Irish pay television channel. First launching in October 1996, it originated from the United States block of the same name. and was operated under a joint-venture between Fox Television Entertainment and Saban Entertainment, before moving along to the Euronext-operating Fox Kids Europe.
The channel was started as the Indian version of Toon Disney in December 2004 and also carried the Jetix block in India. Both brands were replaced by Disney XD on 14 November 2009. The channel became Marvel HQ on 20 January 2019 and Super Hungama on 1 March 2022.
