Pasquale Natuzzi (Matera, 24 March 1940) is an Italian entrepreneur and stylist, founder and chairman of the Natuzzi Group.In his 2008 biography Natuzzi Un divano a Wall Street, Agnese Sinisi considered Natuzzi to be one of the most important entrepreneurs in the history of southern Italy and in the upholstered furniture sector.
In the book he defined three different furniture types: type-needs, type-furniture, and human-limb objects. He defined human-limb objects as: "Extensions of our limbs and adapted to human functions that are type-needs and type-functions, therefore type-objects and type-furniture. The human-limb object is a docile servant.
Poltrona Frau is a furniture-maker founded in 1912 by Sardinian-born Renzo Frau [2] in Turin, Italy, headquartered since the early 1960s [3] in Tolentino and specializing in leather seating for interior and automotive applications. [4] The company name combines poltrona, the Italian word for 'armchair', and Frau, the last name of its founder.
