İstiklal Avenue (Turkish: İstiklal Caddesi, lit. 'Independence Avenue') is a 1.4 kilometre (0.87 mi) pedestrian street in the historic Beyoğlu (Pera) district in Istanbul , Turkey . It is one of the most famous avenues in the city.
As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising two schools, had an enrollment of 481 students and 44.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.8:1. [ 1 ] The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings.
