The Colonial States College Hockey Conference (CSCHC) is a non-varsity club college ice hockey league based in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. The conference is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 2 and is made up of teams from colleges and universities based in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The following is a list of the 64 schools that fielded men's ice hockey teams in NCAA Division I in the most recent 2023–24 season, plus the 44 schools that fielded women's teams in the de facto equivalent of Division I, the NCAA's National Collegiate division. The tournament includes all eleven teams in the conference, with teams ranked according to their finish in the conference standings. Seeds 1–5 earn a bye into the quarterfinal round, while seeds 6–11 play to determine the remaining quarterfinalists. Winners in the opening round are reseeded and advanced to play top three seeds in reverse order.
The No. 1 team in the regular-season conference standings automatically advances to the conference semifinals, while the remaining teams are seeded into best-of-three quarterfinals to determine the three remaining teams. The 2023–24 NCHC season is the 11th season of play for National Collegiate Hockey Conference and takes place during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The season will began on October 7, 2023, and conclude on March 9, 2023.
Teams are split into two pools based on their national ranking. The top two teams from each pool advance to the Semi-Finals. The overall winner is the AAU Division III College Hockey National Champion. 2024: William & Mary (#8) finished 0-3 in Pool A; lost to Miami (#1) 4-0, Stony Brook (#4) 5-2 and Rochester (#6) 11-2.
The top four seeded teams each earn home ice and host one of the lower seeded teams. The winners of the first round series advanced to the Xcel Energy Center for the NCHC Frozen Faceoff.
