Santy S. Asanuma (born December 11, 1961) is a Palauan politician who has served as Postmaster General of Palau since 2021. [1] He is also as a member of the Senate of Palau . Asanuma was born to Asanuma Asao, a businessman of Japanese-Palauan heritage, and his wife Sechedui, a member of Palau's Advisory Council.

Ulai Trudy Otobed (born 31 December 1941) [1] is a Palauan physician. In 1965 she became the first Micronesian woman to qualify as a doctor. Also a table tennis player, she won a gold medal in the sport at the 1963 South Pacific Games and was national champion of Fiji in three categories.
