Waseem Abbas (Urdu: وسِیم عبّاس) is a Pakistani television, stage and film actor, screenwriter and director. [1]He is known for his roles in television dramas for the Pakistan Television (), the country's public service broadcaster, and other networks, including Samundar, Raat, Ashiyana, Family Front (which he also directed), Landa Bazar and Din.
Family Front (Urdu: فیملی فرنٹ) was a 1997 Pakistani comedy drama sitcom. It was broadcast by the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV World, now PTV News). This sitcom was directed by Waseem Abbas and written by Muhammad Younis Butt. [2] [3]
Premiering on 17 April 2002, the serial starred Tauqeer Nasir, Ali Zafar, Waseem Abbas, Kashif Mehmood, Babar Ali, Farah Shah, Mehmood Aslam, Jana Malik and Urooj. [1] A sequel of the series, Laal Ishq was aired on A-Plus TV from 2017 to 2018. [2]
