The Grand Inquisitor – The individual who would become known as the Grand Inquisitor was originally a Pau'an Jedi Temple Guard during the Clone Wars. After losing his faith in the Jedi Order and falling to the dark side, he came into service of the Empire and worked his way up its ranks to become the leader of the Inquisitors.
