Those wires go back to the alternator and the fuse panel. Older starter solenoids also have two small terminals. The pass side small terminal is for the start wire from the key.

    Every one says it is so easy but every single one of those people claiming the ease of installation is running a 2.2. with the stock computer. I will be using the mefi5 I hear the 2.4's are more technical. I talked to steve at EFI and he said that he rarely wires the vehicles, and more or less did not seem interested.

    The HID lighting is pretty straight forward on its wiring... hot and ground. As far as wiring gauge goes: Watts / Volts = Amps. I have used the below gauge chart and it has served me well to date: 10 Amp: 18/16 Gauge. 15 Amp: 14 Gauge. 20 Amp: 12 Gauge. 30 Amp: 10 Gauge. 40 Amp: 08 Gauge. 60 Amp: 06 Gauge.

    For anyone who is playing with their f150 wiring I thought I'd add this info in hopes it helps other when wiring the wiper circuit. Below is the wiring for the wiper motor & a diagram for a Cole Hersee wiper switch. It is super easy to wire in & works well. Also, I am using the Bussman power relay for my radiator fans.

    May 22, 2011. #2. One thing that makes it tough with an MD5 is the shift rod out of the transaxle is off set to the right from the center line. We had a VW setup with a front shaft that went into a bearing then a short offset shaft that had couple joints connected to the shift rod coming out of the transaxle.

    7) Find the fuel pump test terminal wire hanging off the underhood harness. This is a little single connector either taped to the harness or like a flying lead coming out of the harness. It could be a red wire, but could be another color. The connector could be green, but could be another color.
