Mar 25, 2019 at 2:48 PM. I must admit I don’t know of any SAHM’s that are divorced. Most likely you will have to get a job but as someone mentioned you could qualify for alimony as well as child support. Many of my friends have used a mediator instead of a lawyer and have had great success with that.
DharmaPortal. Oct 21, 2012 at 8:27 PM. I love being a SAHM. As much as I enjoyed and loved my job as an RN for over 20 years, I do not regret not working in the medical field anymore. Being a SAHM is a whole new world to me and a wonderful vocation very much like how I felt about nursing when I first started.
Pregnancy Week 40. Pregnancy Week 41. Pregnancy Week 42. So, at recent family events with my husbands family I feel judged for being a SAHM. We’re on the waitlist for daycare, but also moved across the country and not to mention I quit my dream job to be close to them. Family will make snide remarks about how “they could never be a “stay ...
Sorry for long response, but short form: you will probably feel guilty whether you work or stay home. Working from home, freelancing, etc., doesn’t make much difference. Our society is very anti-mother, anti-family, AND it is also very unaffordable for 1 income families.

That unfortunately means we don’t qualify for state assistance for anything, other than LO health insurance. My big thing is I need health insurance. How are you...
I quit my job with my first as soon as I found out I was pregnant! 2 years later & we are now on to baby #2 & being a SAHM is the best decision I could have made! My daughter is raised by me & not by strangers. I get to raise her & she & I are so close. She is extremely smart & we have so many memories together.
I’m not technically a SAHM but I’m on an 18 month Mat leave, and man, with only 1 month left I am soooo excited to go back to work and have a break. We are totally fine financially if I decide later down the line to stop working, but I’m really looking forward to going back to work.
Work vs SAHM (affects on marriage) Ok serious “debate” (work or SAHM) I am currently a SAHM with an 11 month old & am 3 months pregnant. I have two Masters degrees and had a good job prior. I am 28 years old. My husband and I have been together since I was 15, married for 4 years. He is the love of my life.
SAHM vs. Working Dad. e. eveegee. Mar 7, 2022 at 6:03 AM. So imma FTM and newly became a SAHM. I am finding this is the most rewarding yet exhausting job I’ve ever had I really salute anyone who can do this and not lose their marbles. And working moms I have a whole new respect for you. I don’t think my husband fully understands what it ...
1. Begin making a list of things he’s done and include dates and anyone who could serve as a witness to said incidents. If you don’t have witnesses, that’s okay. 2. Find a lawyer or 4 that offers free consultations.
