Mostly high end Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, Rickenbacker & Martin.. There’s nothing on Gibson’s new Guitar list the OP posted that are for me.. But, there are still a few Guitars I’d like.. A reissue ‘65 Gibson Firebird VII.. 3 Pickups, Maestro, Sunburst with Gold hardware is one.
The Gibson L flattop is, well, the Gibson L flattop shape. It doesn't matter whether the guitar is an L-00, L-0, L-1, or L-2. The "L" designates the body shape/size.

However there are exceptions - I have a 2017 LP Standard that came with a compound radius fingerboard. It is a little more curved at the first few frets and then gradually flattens out as you move up the fingerboard.

I've owned my Gibson Bozeman Masterbilt J-160E for about 22 years. It is a Fabulous Guitar. I also own an Epiphone Paul Mc Cartney Inspired By Texan. Which is a good Guitar.

These guitars are produced under the Gibson/Baldwin Music Education Program (or something to that effect). They're beginner-grade instruments. They're closer to the Starcaster by Fender line than the Squier line, which includes some rather nice guitars. They seem to be produced under two names - Maestro and Signature.
7.7k. Posted December 4, 2008. Contact Gibson and they will tell you they stopped selling seconds, or B-stock, in 1985. Before '85, they'd have a 2 stamped in the back of the headstock. What you should do is to get the serial number, email it to Gibson and ask for the guitar's model number.

It's just my personal POV, but I think the Explorer headstock is a BIG improvement over the design used on the vintage Victory models from the early 1980s. YMMV. I just went and had a look and actually for me I much prefer the original.. To me the only guitar that should have the hockey stick is the explorer..
