Thanks for the reply. Equation Tools has the ability to change the default font by this address: "Equation Tools/Tools/Equation Options" To change the default font you need to have math fonts. I could find some, but I need a font with the same characters that Time New Roman has.

I am looking for a way to configure the default font for the office apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.), both desktop and web apps, for all our tenant users. In "Microsoft 365 Apps admin center" > "Policy Management" there are policies to configure the default font setting only for the Windows platform in Excel and OneNote.

Hi, You can't change the default font in Wordpad, but there is a work around. a. Open Wordpad and change to the font that you want and then save it as a template and exit Wordpad. b. Go to the file you just saved and make it read only to avoid accidentally writing over it. Make a shortcut to it and use this to run WordPad in the future.

Aptos is the new default font so the change was automatic. In Outlook: Open a new document and on the Format Text tab. Click change Styles button, choose the font you want then click set as Default. In Word: Design tab - then select the font and set as default.
The right way: Open a new blank document. Click the Design tab. Click the Fonts button (near the right end of the Document Formatting group) and click Customize Fonts at the bottom of the gallery. Change the Body Font box to Times New Roman, and optionally change the Heading Font and the Name entries. Click OK.
