35,876. Dec 22, 2016. #3. In general it's not easy to wirelessly send a DC analog signal as an analog value with any degree of accuracy. That's why it's typically converted to a digital word and then that word is sent wirelessly. That way the signal can be sent with the accuracy of the original analog to digital conversion as long as the word ...
To function as a PWM to analog converter you are operating the low pass filter with a very long time constant, i.e. well below the LP filter upper cut-off frequency. If you are converting PWM to audio then I would do it in two stages. Firstly I would integrate the PWM signal to produce the triangular waveforms.
Solution 1: DC Motor + Encoder with TTL signal --> Since its already digital signal, can be interpreted directly from the controller - just need reprogramming. Solution 2: DC Motor + Encoder with TTL signal + LM2917 / LM2907 /Frequency Voltage Converter --> directly connect to controller since the input is converted to analog signal.
Apr 11, 2008. #1. I need to take an analog signal with a Vmin ~-90mv and a Vmax ~1.5v and add about 2 volts to the entire signal. The signal is going to be converted by a microprocessor that requires an input between 0 and 5volts I've tried a couple things and have had no luck. This is for an ECG circuit, powered with two 9v batteries. thanks.
Oct 15, 2024. #1. Just looking for IC make/model suggestions. An IC to convert PWM signal (low frequency, 5kHz or less) to an analog output voltage, something like PWM 0-100% with analog out 0-supply V (in my case 0-12vdc). Analog output needs to be rather flat (no ripple) for any given PWM %, I am using this output as a REF voltage to opamp.
FM or FMN will be analog. P25 will be digital. For trunked systems, the column of interest is Type. Match your scanner with the system listed there. For some systems, they support both analog and digital users. The Mode column on the talkgroup will tell you what type that particular talkgroup is. A will be analog. D will be digital.
First generate a 50 % duty cycle square wave. (a 555 timer will work fine. Run this through an integrator to obtain a triangle wave. Combine the triangle wave and the MODULATING analog signal in a simple adder. Take the output of the adder and apply it to a COMPARATOR The output of the comparator will be a PWM signal.
There are optocouplers designed specifically to transfer/isolate analog signals. A common type has one LED and two receivers all in one package. One receiver is the isolated output, and the other one drives the transmitting opamp feedback loop. This makes the driving opamp take out any transfer non-linearities. ak.
Frequency of an input analog signal from a sensor let say 50Hz or any acceptable range of frequency Amplitude/voltage may vary. I wan get two output signals: one is signal of all +ve halfs and another is all -ve halfs from an input analog signal. input analog signal is =50Hz (for example) which means the signal contains 50+ve and 50-ve halfs.
Feb 9, 2017. #3. A PT100 sensor is basically a temperature dependent resistor that has a resistance of 100 ohms at 0deg C. Its resistance varies fairly linear with temperature at about 0.39ohms per degree C. So at +50deg C its resistance will be about 119.4 ohms. Normally this is connected to a special analog input device that provides a ...
