May be different for a 2006, and given that you do not have firesuppresion, it does seem to indicate that some of the direct input wires are in different locations, along with your airbag warning. As for the 2008 cluster, direct inputs are limited to; -turn signals. -High beam indicator. -brake warning indicator.
Loc: Seattle, WA. Just some further information: Fleet keys aren't department specific. Ford had 6 keyed alike options to choose from. 1284x is by far the most common. 1294x is the second most common. 0135x, 0151x, 0576x, and 1435x are the other options. Only about half of p71s were ordered with a keyed alike option.
the stock composite PI (performance improved) intake is actaully a decent intake manifold and about the only option for these cars. It is exactly the same intake that is used on the 99-04 mustang 4.6L 2v. They are capable of flowing and providing power to 300hp+ and up to 6000-6300rpm.
Those have been used in mustangs, f150's, and a pile of other common vehicles and should be readily available from a salvage yard should you need to replenish your MAP stash. Looks like you are better off googling which part store is easier to deal with, and let that guide you, and just pick up whatever is left on your list from the other store.
Loc: Central Louisiana. I have an '04 spruce green Crown Vic LX Sport with gray leather interior. The plastic cover on the lumbar control on the driver's side seat is broken and kinda "hanging there". My husband tried to glue it back together but it would not stay. I have this part no. "2w1x-14b609-aaw" but can't find where to get another one.
A while back I swapped the 70mm throttle body off of a 2003 Lincoln LS onto my 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis, with good results. I neglected to take any photos at the time, but recently Spamgod reached out to me for one for his 2009 CVPI, so I took photos this time when I prepped his for install. Preperations.
The new crank pulley I got is made in China. I realize that some of Ford's OE parts are also made in China. Overall it looks very close to the OE part, casting is a bit rough in the non-machined areas. The damper rubber is also more "tightly" packed between the pulleys. _____

A pull your own part place opened up a couple miles away, and they publish the list of cars on the web. Any new Crown Vics or Grand Marquis come in I am there. I have pulled a couple 03+ cup holders that were incomplete or broken, but lots of good parts (at 6-7 bucks each), but finally found one that is functionally complete, the right color ...
Pull off the wheels, jackstand under the axle, undo the lower shock bolt, and the spring should just slide out. (NOTE: this is a gross oversimplification of the actual procedure) To get the factory shocks out, you have to cut part of the housing so you can grip the shaft with vise grips. Top.
