The Admiral Hotel was built by the Lopez-Araneta Family. Construction started in 1938 and completed in 1939. The building was inaugurated on July 8, 1939, with Manuel L. Quezon as the guest of honor. During its heyday, the Admiral Hotel was the tallest building in Manila and thus became a landmark by seafarers docking to Manila Bay.

Resorts World Manila is the sister resort to Resorts World Genting in Malaysia and Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. The Manila Hotel is a 550-room, historic five-star hotel located along Manila Bay in Manila, Philippines. The hotel is the oldest premiere hotel in the Philippines built in 1909 to rival Malacañang Palace, the official residence of the President of the Philippines. It was opened on the commemoration of American Independence on July 4, 1912.
