Camden is part of the Preble Shawnee School District. Students attend Camden Elementary (Grades K-3), West Elkton Elementary (4-6), and Preble Shawnee High School (7-12). The district's mascot is the Arrows. Camden has a public library, a branch of the Preble County District Library. [11]
Part of the 2012-2014 Miami Valley Council Strategic Plan called for the council to review its district structure. [2] A District Realignment Proposal was approved by the Miami Valley Council Executive Board in November 2013, and took effect on June 1, 2014, reducing the total number of districts from six to four.

Camden Town Hall, known as St Pancras Town Hall until 1965, is the meeting place of Camden London Borough Council. The main entrance is in Judd Street with its northern elevation extending along Euston Road, opposite the main front of St Pancras railway station. It was completed in 1937 and has been Grade II listed since 1996. [1]
