Mount Kilimanjaro (/ˌkɪlɪmənˈdʒɑːroʊ/) is a dormant volcano in the United Republic of Tanzania, 5,895 meters (19,341 ft) above sea level. There are several routes by which to reach Kibo, or Uhuru Peak, the highest summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, namely: Marangu, Rongai, Lemosho, Shira, Umbwe, and Machame.

Kilimanjaro National Park is a Tanzanian national park located 300 kilometres (190 mi) south of the equator [1] in the Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. The park is located near the region of Moshi. Himo is a central point town of the Moshi district. It is about 29 kilometres (18 mi) east of Moshi and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from the Kenyan border and the town of Taveta. Rombo is one of the seven districts of the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. It covers an area of 1,471 km 2 (568 sq mi). [1] It is bordered to the north and east by Kenya, to the west by the Siha District and Hai District, and to the south by the Moshi Rural District.
