Pyramids Football Club (Arabic: نادي بيراميدز لكرة القدم or نادي الأهرام لكرة القدم) is an Egyptian professional football club based in New Cairo, Cairo that competes in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. [1]
The 2023–24 Pyramids FC season was the club's sixth season in existence and the sixth consecutive season in the top flight of Egyptian football. In addition to the domestic league, Pyramids participated in this season's editions of the Egypt Cup, the League Cup, the Egyptian Super Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
The 2024–25 season is the seventh season in the history of Pyramids FC and the seventh consecutive season in the Premier League. In addition to the domestic league, Pyramids competes in the domestic cup, the Egyptian League Cup and the CAF Champions League.
The 2021–22 Pyramids FC season was the club's fourth season in existence and the fourth consecutive season in the top flight of Egyptian football.In addition to the domestic league, Pyramids participated in this season's editions of the Egypt Cup, the EFA Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup.
It is the home ground of the Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids F.C. In March 2019 it was announced that the stadium will host all bar one of the fixtures of Group C in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as one Group A and Group D match and one match each in the round of 16, the quarter-finals, and the semi-finals.
The 2020–21 season was the third season in the history of the Pyramids FC, and the club's third consecutive season in the Egyptian Premier League. In addition to the domestic league, the team participated in the Egypt Cup.
