The Pax Romana (Latin for ' Roman peace ') is a roughly 200+-year-long period of Roman history which is identified as a golden age of increased and sustained Roman imperialism, relative peace and order, prosperous stability, hegemonic power, and regional expansion.
Before breaking into comics, Hickman worked in the fields of Web and CD-ROM development and later, advertising. [3] Between 2006 and 2008, Hickman published his debut comic book series The Nightly News [4] and Pax Romana, [5] both of which he wrote, drew, colored and lettered, through Image.
He was a member of the Nerva–Antonine dynasty, the last of the rulers later known as the Five Good Emperors and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace, calm, and stability for the Roman Empire lasting from 27 BC to 180 AD. He served as Roman consul in 140, 145, and 161.
The Pax Romana was a time of peace established by Emperor Augustus during the Roman Empire. Pax Romana may also refer to: Pax Romana (1511), a treaty concluded in Rome in 1511 between Pope Julius II and the Roman Baronial families. Pax Romana (comics), a comic book created by Jonathan Hickman.
Pax Romana is a combination of two movements, ICMICA/MIIC and IMCS/MIEC.ICMICA stands for the International Catholic Movement for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, and MIIC stands for the French and Spanish translation of this title (Mouvement International des Intellectuels Catholiques in French and Movimiento Internacional de Intelectuales Católicos in Spanish).
