Norfolk (/ ˈ n ɔːr f ɔːr k / NOR-fork or / ˈ n ɔːr f oʊ k / NOR-fohk) is a city in Madison County, Nebraska, United States, 113 miles northwest of Omaha and 76 miles southwest of Sioux City, Iowa, at the intersection of U.S. Routes 81 and 275.

Pierce County is a county in the U.S. state of Nebraska.As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 7,317. [1] Its county seat is Pierce. [2] The county was formed in 1859, and was named for US President Franklin Pierce.
The U.S. Post Office and Courthouse in Norfolk, Nebraska, United States, was built in 1904. Designed by James Knox Taylor, it includes Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals architecture. It served historically as a courthouse, as a correctional facility, and as a post office. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. [1]
