The 11th Street Bridge was completed in December 1915 to carry vehicles across the Arkansas River at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Used from 1916 to 1972, it was also a part of U.S. Route 66. [1] Functionally, it has been replaced by the I-244 bridges across the Arkansas. As of 2009, the bridge was in poor structural condition and unsafe even for pedestrians.

It is bordered by 1st street to the north and 11th street on the south, and lies adjacent to Centennial Park to the west. The Tulsa Fire Alarm Building at 1010 South Detroit, which has been unused for several years, is part of this district. The building was sold in July 2015. It will be converted into a museum honoring Tulsa's firefighters.

The Tulsa Club was founded in 1925 as a social club for wealthy businessmen. The 11-story building, designed by Bruce Goff, was constructed in 1927 on the northwest corner of Fifth Street and Cincinnati Avenue, next to the Philtower Building. The Tulsa Chamber of Commerce owned 40 percent of the building and the club owned 60 percent.
