Bend-La Pine Schools is a school district in the U.S. state of Oregon that serves the cities of Bend and La Pine in Central Oregon and the surrounding area, including Sunriver. The district has an enrollment of more than 18,000 students, [ 1 ] and is the fifth largest in the state as of 2016.
In November 2017, a $268.3 million bond was passed to relieve overcrowding and improve Bend-La Pine high schools. Construction started in mid-2019 and finished in 2021. The school opened only to freshmen and sophomores for the 2021–2022 school year. [3] [4]
