The Peace rose, formally Rosa 'Peace', synonym Mme A. Meilland, is a well-known and successful garden rose. By 1992, over one hundred million plants of this hybrid tea had been sold. The cultivar has large flowers of a light yellow to cream color, slightly flushed at the petal edges with crimson-pink.

'Black Baccara' is a tall, upright hybrid tea rose, 5 to 6 ft (1.5–1.8 m) in height, with a 2 to 3 ft (0.61–0.91 m) spread. Bloom size ranges from 3 to 5 in (76–127 mm). It has a high-centered, very full (41+ petals) bloom form. The flowers are dark red-burgundy with a velvety texture.
The Tea roses are repeat-flowering roses, named for their fragrance being reminiscent of Chinese black tea (although this is not always the case). The colour range includes pastel shades of white, pink and (a novelty at the time) yellow to apricot. The individual flowers of many cultivars are semi-pendent and nodding, due to weak flower stalks.
