After taking my 93 YJ to the Jeep shop to have them evaluate and hopefully fix the rusted out rear frame (you know what I am talking about), they kindly told me "your frame is wasted". $4200 to get another frame and move everything. After I picked up my jaw, I said thanks I will take it home.

    IMO the short answer to your question is No, there is no economical/inexpensive way to swap a V8 into a JK.
