They're good. They are worth more than a Subway footlong because they shove a ton of toppings and way more meat than normal. Boar's Head meat is no joke so if you're snobby about your meat then Publix subs are definitely the way to go. Otherwise the normal Publix Subs are about the same quality and price as a sub shop. 14.
Pub subs are trash. Publix brand meats are trash. The idiots behind the counter are trash. The bread/rolls are too small and they over stuff them. Causing them to fall apart. Quantity does not equal quality. They don’t have any training standards on how to build them (order of ingredients). 1. Reply.
Publix subs are good, they have great quality meats and cheeses and the veggies are fresh. They have a wide variety of options, so you won't easily get bored with them. The bread that they use is extremely crusty and chewy. I personally love this, but it also makes the sub tougher to chew.
The other subs are alright. Boars Head is better than the Publix equivalent, but they are generally nothing special. Even the much loved chicken tender sub. You will most likely find a higher quality and tastier sub at a local place or even a chain place that specializes in subs (not Subway). Your tastes will dictate this. Good luck!
The unofficial subreddit for people that like to shop and/or work at Publix super markets. All Pub Subs price increase by 40 cents. Didn’t realize the price change until a customer got upset over the price. Pub subs already expensive as is. Yeah, the boars head meats keep going up too, which is probably why tbh.
