The 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 67th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 64th FIA Formula One World Championship, a motor racing series for Formula One cars, recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) – the governing body of motorsport – as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars.
Grand Prix, a British television programme based on the Formula One World Championship, had three main presenters during its history: Murray Walker from 1978 to 1996, Jake Humphrey from 2009 to 2012 and Suzi Perry from 2013 to 2015. Among the more occasional hosts were Steve Rider, Des Lynam, Sue Barker and Lee McKenzie.

In July 2012, Bernie Ecclestone confirmed that New Jersey had been included on the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) 2013 Grand Prix schedule on its 2013 calendar as the Grand Prix of Jersey (New York) [28] [29] and in September of the same year, the race was given a provisional date of June 16, 2013. The 2013 Japanese Grand Prix (formally known as the 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix) [1] was a Formula One motor race that was held on 13 October 2013 at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka, Japan. [3] The race was the fifteenth round of the 2013 season , and marked the 39th running of the Japanese Grand Prix .
In a one-off move for the return of the United States Grand Prix in 2000, ITV moved the coverage over to ITV2 as the schedule of the main channel could not occupy the coverage of the race. [7] The 2001 United States Grand Prix was Murray Walker's last in the ITV commentary booth, having missed four other races that season. [ 8 ]
