Atlantic Gardens Veterans Cemetery is in the United States territory of Puerto Rico. The December 10, 1898 Treaty of Paris transferred Puerto Rico, Guam and the Philippines to the United States control as of December 23 of that year. [1] This cemetery was dedicated in May 2014, and designed for approximately 23,000 burials. [2]
