They took as inspiration for B'nai Abraham's new building the Pike Street Synagogue (Congregation Sons of Israel Kalwarie) built in 1903 and 1904 at 13-15 Pike Street in Manhattan, and designed by the architect Alfred E. Badt. Demolition of the old building began on May 10, 1909 [9] and the new building was dedicated April 1910.

B'nai Reuben Anshe Sfard (Hebrew: בית הכנסת הגדול דחברה בני ראובן אנשי ספרד) is a former Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue located in the Queen Village neighborhood of Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The congregation was founded in 1883.
Beth Sholom Congregation (transliterated from Hebrew as "House of Peace") is a Conservative Jewish congregation and synagogue located at 8231 Old York Road in Elkins Park, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is the only synagogue designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
