The body camera footage showing five Memphis police officers fatally beating Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, earlier this month will be released by authorities on Friday evening.
The five Memphis Police officers – Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr, and Justin Smith – were fired by department and charged with second-degree murder.
