The Entertainer (Amersham) Limited is a British toy retailer, founded in 1981 by Catherine and Gary Grant. It is based in Amersham , the town of its first location. The original shop opened in 1974 on London Street, Reading, Berkshire. [2] The business was started by John Richard Beale. [3] The mail order department was in the basement.
