Elena, Bonnie and Caroline (Candice Accola) organize a girls’ night since Caroline broke up with Matt (Zach Roerig) and Jonas took Bonnie's powers. Jenna (Sara Canning) joins them since Alaric broke up with her. They all decide to go to the Grill where Caroline gets back with Matt and Bonnie asks Elena if she is fine with her dating Jeremy.
Elena tries to talk to her but Jenna does not want to hear her. Elena calls Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric to inform them about what happened. Katherine advises Stefan and Damon not to let Isobel and John know that she is still in town while Alaric arrives at Elena’s house.
Damon and Alaric arrive and Alaric goes through first. Damon asks where Elena is and Bonnie assures him she is safe. At the same time, Luke cannot let his sister die and chants a spell making her stop. Damon tries to pass through Bonnie after the spell has stopped but it no longer works, leaving him trapped in the Other Side.
