Tân Châu is a town (thị xã) of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019 the town had a population of 141,211. [1] [2] The town covers an area of 175.68 km². It is famous for Tân Châu silk with the famous product Lãnh Mỹ A, whose black colour comes from the Diospyros mollis's fruit (Vietnamese: Mặc nưa).
Sơn Động is a rural district of Bắc Giang province in the Northeast region of Vietnam. It is the easternmost district in the province. As of 2018 it had a population of 72,350. [2] The district covers an area of 844 km². The district capital lies at An Châu. [2]
While the midland areas are in the districts of Hiệp Hoà and Việt Yên, and the city of Bắc Giang, the mountainous districts are the Sơn Động, Lục Ngạn, Yên Thế, Tân Yên, Yên Dũng and Lạng Giang ; the seven mountainous districts account for 72% of the area of Bắc Giang province. [12] [13]
