Gino's East was opened in 1966 [1] by Sam Levine, Fred Bartoli, and George Loverde. Previously, they had opened the original Gino's in 1960 at 930 N. Rush Street. They bought a building on East Superior Street "but didn't know what to put in it," Levine told a Tribune reporter in 1983, when the restaurant was sold to new owners.

Hotel Kaskaskia is a historic building in LaSalle, Illinois. The hotel was designed by Marshall and Fox and named for the Kaskaskia Indian Village. The six-story hotel at 217 Marquette Street opened in 1915. [2] It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel hosted WJBC (AM).

LaSalle Township is located in LaSalle County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 13,565 and it contained 6,356 housing units. [ 2 ] LaSalle Township was formed from Peru Township on an unknown date.
The building was designed by George C. Nimmons for Reid, Murdoch & Company to be used as offices and a grocery warehouse. [4] It was used as a makeshift hospital on 24 July 1915 after the S.S. Eastland capsized in the Chicago River on the opposite shore, directly across from the building. [4]
