The Grant Park 165 is an annual NASCAR Cup Series race held on the Chicago Street Course, a street circuit in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, United States.The race was first held in 2023 and was the first ever street race contested in the NASCAR Cup Series.
On July 19, 2022, the Grant Park 220 was announced as part of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series, replacing the Kwik Trip 250 at Road America. [3] [4] A 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship race event was simultaneously announced to fill out the 2023 race weekend, but was later cancelled and replaced with a 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series event.
