Brandon is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,727. [4] Most of the village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Brandon Village Historic District.

Built about 1835 and enlarged in the 1850s, it is one of Vermont's finest examples of pre-Civil War resort architecture, and a rare little-altered survivor of that period. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. [1] It and adjacent buildings are (as of 2015) vacant and for sale.
