Eureka is a city mainly in St. Louis County, with a small portion in Jefferson County, Missouri, adjacent to Wildwood and Pacific. It is in the extreme southwest of the Greater St. Louis metro area. As of the 2020 census , the city had a population of 11,646. [ 5 ]
As of the census [11] of 2010, there were 254 people, 102 households, and 74 families living in the city. The population density was 282.2 inhabitants per square mile (109.0/km 2).
The area codes are allocated within the North American Numbering Plan (NANP). The two original area codes for Missouri in 1947 were 314 and 816. Area code 417 was split off from 816 in 1950, and the other area codes followed more than 40 years later, due to the proliferation of Cellular Phones and Pagers.

High Ridge is located in northern Jefferson County and is bordered to the north by Peaceful Village and Parkville. Missouri Route 30 runs through the community, leading northeast 23 miles (37 km) to downtown St. Louis and southwest 31 miles (50 km) to St. Clair.
Silva is located on U.S. Route 67 just south of Missouri Route 34, approximately thirteen miles east of Piedmont and three miles north of Greenville.The community is at the north end of Lake Wappapello and the St. Francis River flows past one mile to the west.
