Mother Countess Polixena of Collalto and San Salvatore Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein (full name: Alexander Friedrich Manfred Maria von und zu Liechtenstein ; 14 May 1929 – 16 March 2012) [ citation needed ] was a Prince of the House of Liechtenstein and a businessman in the forestry and timber industries.
In 1993, she met Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein, the son of Prince Philipp of Liechtenstein and grandson of Franz Joseph II, in Gstaad.
