The museum renamed the National Museum – Architecture, opened in 2008 at a new location, Bankplassen 3 in Oslo. The museum is located in three separate buildings that are built together. The main building – the oldest section – was the Norges Banks Christianiaavdeling which was designed by Christian H. Grosch and was finished in 1830.
